Welcome To The World

This baby was born weighing only 2 pounds and 12 oz. But that doesn’t stop him from smiling.

Look at that face! We can’t get over it. There’s so much life in those eyes and that smile. He’s absolutely radiant.

We love this baby so much we wish we could pick it up and take him home with us, but we won’t because we know his mom would be too sad. His face is just too perfect.

Early Bird

This little guy was born at 34 weeks. He weighed only five pounds and 4 oz. when he was born.

He had to spend two weeks in the NICU after he was born, but those were two weeks well spent.

He’s now smiling up a storm and looking really cute when he’s going it. We love that little hat he’s got going on. It somehow makes him look cuter, if that is something that’s even at all possible.

Kennedy

This is Kennedy, and she’s got the cutest resting glad face we’ve ever seen in our lives.

Kennedy was born at 31 weeks, and she only weighed 3 pounds and 2 ounces when she was born.

Now, she’s all wrapped up in a cute little blanket. She looks quite cozy like that. We also love how she’s resting her head on her tiny little fist, as if it’s a pillow. Do you think it’s more comfortable like that?

Happy Girl

This baby has the biggest smile we’ve ever seen on a child. It’s almost bigger than she is.

She was only 3 pounds and 14 ounces when she came into this world. Although, if you were to weigh her joy, it would tip the scales.

Seriously, she’s so happy it radiates through the photo and touches us right into our hearts. We wish we could experience even half of the joy that this baby has got going on.

Before

These babies were born prematurely, but they weren’t necessarily born smiling when they came out.

This girl was born early and weighed 3 pounds and seven ounces when she was born. She looks so tiny that we can’t even believe she’s real.

She looks like she’s gone through something. How are her hands so tiny? They’re the most adorable hands we’ve ever seen in our lives. It looks like we need to leave her alone so she can nap.

After

Yes, this is the same baby in the previous photo. It’s not a changing baby.

This is what that same baby looks like after two weeks of some good R and R. She’s beaming as if her smile is a spotlight.

She’s sixteen weeks in this photo, and you can’t even tell that she was born premature. The only thing you really notice is that big, toothless smile stretching from cheek to cheek. We can’t get enough of it.

Sweet And Smiling

This baby was born seven weeks premature. Ugh, we really can’t take how cute all of these babies are.

We’ve almost had enough. We don’t know if we can continue with these cute babies. We might have reached saturation point on how many cute babies we can look at.

But no, we have more in us. There are so many other cute babies that we can stare at. Because the truth is, you can never have too many cute babies.

Little Guy

When this baby was born, he only weighed 4 pounds and 9 ounces. He’s so tiny, we can’t even.

Now, he’s 17 months old, and he’s thriving. It’s so interesting to notice how small he is compared to a grown human.

He can’t quite fit in the palm of your hand, but he sure is trying. Look at that little nose on that little face. It’s so perfect and pert. It’ll grow, but right now, it’s perfectly tiny.

Happy As A Clam

This baby was born at 25 weeks. He was only 2 pounds and 2 ounces when he was born.

But from the look at that smile, you would think that he has no idea he was born so early or so small.

He’s flashing a grin that most adults aren’t even capable of. He’s just happy to be here, and it shows. We’re happy that he’s here too, because it means that we get to see his bright smile.

Hats Off

This tiny little baby has a tiny little knit cap on his tiny little head.

How cute is this entire picture? It’s so perfect that we want to frame it and look at it whenever we’re feeling badly about the world we live in.

This baby looks so happy to just be alive, and we wish that we could get to that point, too. And also, we wish that we could wear a cool green hat as well.

Defying The Odds

This baby was born at 33 weeks. After suffering from a stroke, her mother was told that she would never smile.

Well guess what? That’s a smile on this baby’s face, and that giant grin is not at all photoshopped.

This baby is a miracle, and so is her smile. We love seeing it more than anything. We hope she spends her whole life smiling, because she’s come so far and will end up going so far as well.

All Grown Up

But smiling babies who were born prematurely end up growing into smiling children as well.

Like this girl, who was born weighing 3 pounds and 6 ounces. In this photo, she just turned 7 and has a huge smile spreading from ear to ear.

It’s nice to see how the children turn out after they’ve been born prematurely, and it’s nice to know that they’re doing just fine and smiling really big on top of it all.

Twins

Believe it or not, both of these children were born premature. They’re twins, and they were born at 26 weeks.

Each child weighed only 1 pound and 11 ounces each. That’s 3 pounds and 6 ounces combined.

They had to spend 80 days in NICU after they were born. But now, they’re five, and they’re doing great. We love that even though they’re not identical twins, they’re still sporting identical smiles. And it’s making us smile, too.

Evelyn

This is Evelyn. It’s hard to tell now, but she was born at 25 weeks.

She only weighed 1.8 pounds when she was born. We’re so impressed at how much she’s managed to grow. She’s now a healthy, smiling little girl.

In Evelyn’s first six months of life, she had to be revived multiple times. It’s a lot to go through, but we’re glad that she made it through. She’s so beautiful and has such a lovely smile.

A Grown Man

And finally…,

This man was born nine weeks premature and weighed only 4.8 pounds when he was born.

But now, he’s a full grown man who has a full on smile. No, he didn’t look like this when he was born. He grew into this stature.

He’s now graduating from medical school and he’s going to become a doctor of¬†osteopathic medicine. That’s not bad for someone who was born nine weeks before he was actually supposed to be born.
